Battery for the Nikon D40.

When buying an old DSLR camera, it’s very likely to have a bad battery.

When I bought this camera the battery was dead and the camera did not turn on, so instead of buying a new battery I bought this third party battery grip and I use six rechargeable AA battery instead.

But what I realize is the Nikon D40 is small and it can be very good to have a small camera, so adding a battery grip to it was maybe not so smart, for me it works but I think buying the original battery is just better if you don’t want to have your camera to big.

The original battery is EN-EL9a Lithium-ion Battery.
