Nikon Z50 First thoughts.
Nikon Z50 there are nine things I like about this camera.
Small and lightweight.
Nikon Z50 395g body only.
Nikon D3500 365g body only.
Good wether seeling.
Z mount lenses are really good.
I’m expecting the Nikon Z50 to have the same or even better high ISO quality as the Nikon D500 and D7500. (sometimes I need a good iso quality up to 12.800)
This camera support HSS high-speed flash sync (For me this is a must-have in a camera) (this is not supported in a camera like the Nikon D3400)
Nikon Z50 can shoot 14 bit RAW (this is not supported in a camera like the Nikon D3400)
I can shoot 11 frames per sec in continuous shooting with Nikon Z50.
With Nikon Z50 you can download and customize picture control (this is not supported in a camera like the Nikon D3400)
Nikon Z50 has kelvin white balance (this is not supported in a camera like the Nikon D3400)
To keep the camera small and lightweight something needs to go, IBIS and the second card slot is the first thing that came to my mind first, but then I ask my self do I need it, I have been shooting without an image stabilizer for a long time and I also use just one card slot even though I have two.
When traveling by airplane I always take the lightest camera gear that I have which is much heavier than this camera, one more reason why I’m going to buy this camera.
